Porous Asphalt Mixture with Improved Fatigue Resistance and Stormwater Pollutant Reduction in Urban Road Pavement

One alternative measure to minimise the stormwater runoff volume and its pollutants reduce impervious areas is use permeable pavement. However, due weak mechanical performance under heavy-load traffic related fatigue resistance, porous mixtures pavements have restricted applications, i.e., parking lots low-traffic roads. This work aims evaluate resistance of a asphalt mixture produced with highly modified (HiMA) potential contribution reducing pollutants. In order estimate capability flood reduction, case study was performed on an urban road. A pavement designed using as surface layer.
